3D Nipple and Areola Complex Tattoo

The illusion of protrusion

This procedure is a highly specialized practice of tattooing that restores the natural looking color and shape of a nipple and areola complex after breast reconstruction. A 3-dimensional nipple can be created with light and shadow tones, to give the “illusion of protrusion”.

The paramedical tattoo is different than the cosmetic tattooing, micro-pigmentation, permanent makeup which must be re-touched every few years, or traditional artistic tattoos. The Paramedical tattoo equipment is designed to provide a high level of detail and colour accuracy in scarred, stretched and irradiated skin. The use of appropriate tools, the fine art skills and experience on skin response reduces the risk of further damage to the affected tissue, compromising the final result.

A Nipple and Areola Complex (NAC) tattoo is often the final step after breast reconstruction, in order to delimit the contours and finalize its appearance. Confidence Paramedical relies on a combination of training in restorative tattoo, scar camouflage and traditional tattoo combined techniques.
